Modern Slavery Statement for Fiscal Year 2024

This statement is made pursuant to s.54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Sora Video AI has taken, and is continuing to take, to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain. Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking, and forced labor. Sora Video AI has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery.

Our Business

Sora Video AI is a leading provider in the video analysis technology sector, leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver cutting-edge solutions for a wide range of applications, from content management to real-time video enhancement and analysis. We are committed to conducting business in an ethical and lawful manner and expect the same from our partners and suppliers.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include the procurement of computer hardware, software development tools, and cloud services from both domestic and international suppliers. We are committed to continuously reviewing and enhancing our practices to identify and prevent unethical practices in our supply chains.

Our Policies

We operate several internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:

1. Recruitment Policy - We conduct checks on all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
2. Whistleblowing Policy - We encourage all our employees, customers, and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, our organization. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
3. Supplier Code of Conduct - This code of conduct sets out the manner in which we behave as an organization and how we expect our suppliers and contractors to act.

Our Suppliers

Sora Video AI operates a supplier policy and maintains a preferred supplier list. We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier. This due diligence includes an online search to ensure that particular organization has never been convicted of offenses relating to modern slavery and on-site audits which include a review of working conditions.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and subcontractors.

Our Performance Indicators

We will know the effectiveness of the steps we are taking to ensure that slavery and/or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain if no reports are received from employees, the public, or law enforcement agencies to indicate that modern slavery practices have been identified.
